Sizing... this is a tricky one. The thing about bras is that they are just like other clothes we wear. We may be a size 8 in one store and a size 12 in another. Every brand can use its own particular sizing system. So please keep an open mind about sizing.
Comexim and Ewa Michalak bras sold in Canada are in UK sizes. If you are already confident you know your UK size please note that these bras fit on the small side in both cups and band. For example if your usual UK size with another brand is 32H you will probably need a 34H in Comexim or Ewa Michalak.
If you are not sure of your UK size or, are not sure you currently have the proper fit, please use the resources below. If you still have questions please feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with your measurements and what bra make, model and size you currently wear and we will help you out. These charts are a starting point but your bra size can vary depending on the shape of your breasts. Sometimes it may take trying a couple different sizes to be sure you have the right one. Keep trying though, trust me, these bras are worth it!
Note that if we do not have your size in stock we can most likely order it for you. Please allow 4 - 6 weeks for out of stock items to be shipped. Your bra will be specially hand made for you after you order it. This takes time, but the wait is worth it!
How do I Measure my Band Size?
Using a soft tape, measure around your ribcage firmly just under your bust, making sure it is in a straight line all the way around. Use the chart below to find your band size.
Now you know your band size.
What about my cup size?
We need you take two measurements to figure this one out since breast shapes vary so much. Take these measurements firm enough to keep the measuring tape in a straight line without cutting into your breasts at all.
1. Without your bra on, measure all the way around your back and across your nipples while standing leaning over at a 90 degree angle. Your back should be parallel to the floor and your breasts hanging towards the floor as pictured below.
2. Without your bra on, lay down on the floor and measure across your back and all the way around nipples as pictured below.
Then take the average of these two numbers. For example if your leaning over measurement was 42 inches and your laying down measurement was 38 inches, the average would be 40.
Now remember what your actual under bust measurement was? Great, subtract your under bust measurement from your average bust measurement. For example if your under bust measurement was 30 and your average over bust measurement was 40, the difference would be 10. Use the chart below to see which cup that would equal. For example, a difference of 10 would be a GG cup.
So using the example sizes and the two charts, your size would be 32GG. Don't be shocked if this seems a lot different than what you currently wear as most people wear the wrong bra size.
